Your words, your file
Platforms love lock-in. Scrawl chooses export. Every post and article can be downloaded as a single Markdown file — human-readable dates, titles, and permalink URLs. Take it anywhere.
What "own" means
- Private by default: password-protected publishing (bcrypt, HMAC-signed cookies)
- No tracking: no ad scripts, no analytics dashboards to check
- Indexable: sitemap, canonical URLs, RSS feeds that readers actually use
We can't promise you traffic. We can promise you a quiet place that respects your attention and never holds your archive hostage. That is a trade worth making.
